Crafting a Beautiful Tree with Treasures from Nature

Looking for a simple nature craft? Make a paper nature tree! The kids ran around the yard and gathered leaves and flower petals to decorate their trees with. This craft is so easy. Simply print the tree (I printed it on cardstock) and glue on your nature findings! Download at the bottom of this page.

They loved decorating their trees and showing off their nature findings. You could gather some sticks and glue them on the trunk!

After we finished our tree we made more art with nature using these Nature Treasures Printable Activities.

Tag #raisinghooks in your tree pictures on Facebook and Instagram so I can see your beautiful creations! Happy gathering!

Love this idea. Is there anything you can put on top to “preserve” it for lack of a better word? I want to do this with my little and mail it to her grandparents.

Kimberly, What a great idea! I don’t know to be honest. I would think the best way would be to “preserve” each piece before gluing it to the base. Maybe paint Modge Podge sealer on each leaf and flower, making sure to let each side dry before sealing the other side. Do let me know if you try this! I might just give it a try on a smaller scale – like a card!
