Nature Treasures – An Educational Activity Inspiring Creativity With Nature
These Nature Treasures Activities encourage children to explore and collect natural objects like leaves, flowers, twigs and stones. Children get to unleash their creativity and create unique nature-inspired artworks while enhancing their fine motor skills, writing and appreciation for the nature.
Leaf Collection – Collect leaves and glue them onto the worksheet. Compare their features with the Leaf Collection Writing Activity.
Stone Patterns – Gather interesting rocks and arrange them into patterns.
Shape Outlines – Use twigs to outline the shapes. Then use your imagination to fill in the shape with your nature treasures. There are 4 shapes – heart, triangle, star and square.
Twig Shapes – Arrange twigs into various shapes.
Flower Collage – Create a beautiful collage of flowers and other nature treasures.
These can also be used as a classroom center with fake flowers and leaves.
