4 Seasons Writing Prompt Craftivities

My daughter loves drawing and coloring and has recently shown interest in writing letters to people. She is getting really good at reading and spelling but needs a little help with forming letters on paper. I thought these writing craftivities would be an engaging way to get her to practice her writing. I didn’t realize just how obsessed she would be with these. She LOVES doing these craftivities!

I made these as a 4 season bundle with 1 craft for each week of the year (plus a bonus craft). There are some holiday crafts for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day too.

Younger kids can trace their stories with the editable tracing difficulty. Type their story and print it out.  It’s ready for coloring and tracing!

3 Difficulties – Each design is made with 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch lines so you can choose which difficulty works best for your students. There is also an editable file for each design to type a story in a traceable font for those just learning to write. There is a traceable version of the blank extra page as well.

Along with these craftivities, I gave my daughter this Alphabet Formation Reference Sheet. It’s a printable reference sheet with arrows to show the steps of making each letter. I noticed a difference in her writing almost immediately. This guide is perfect for those students that struggle with letter formation and need a quick visual reminder.
