Counting Money Activity Bag

I’ve been working on counting money with Miss 4. I went through 2 sets of paper money before deciding I needed to make a sturdy set to teach with. With a 1 year old boy running around, nothing flimsy lasts long in our house!

I laminated the set and I used a dry erase marker to write prices on the price tag. We pretended to play shop and buy her toys and stuffed animals. She quickly fell in love with this game!

The kids are usually snacking on something so having a washable set of play money is REALLY awesome!

She is recognizing different coins and dollar amounts. We did a lot of “can you hand me a quarter?” She quickly caught on.

I love these Pencil Cases for holding this money set. I keep them in a three ring binder with my other activity bags. It’s an easy way to keep them organized.

This set is available to download in my TPT store.
