Magic Pumpkins - Raising Hooks

I’m always looking for ways to surprise Miss 3. Especially when it’s something she can wake up to. Waking up to magical pumpkins that grew overnight was so exciting for her!

I can’t take credit for the magic pumpkin idea. It was passed to me through a friend and it’s totally awesome!

What you need:
Pumpkins
Seeds or vines
“Magic Dust” glitter

It’s really simple!

Buy some pumpkins. We bought different colors to add some curiosity.

Pick a tree or magic spot.

“Plant” your pumpkins. We used a decorative vine around the tree. You could dig holes with a trowel and put seeds or beans in the ground too.

Make “magic dust”. We used pink and orange glitter. You could use sprinkles!

Sprinkle the “magic dust” and water your vines or seeds.

Water the vines or seeds.

She was so happy! She loved carving them and making pumpkin seeds later. The tree has since been dubbed The Magic Tree and has also produced M agic Lollipops. I love finding special traditions to do to make memories.
