St. Patrick’s Day Activities

Hello March! As we look forward to our warm Spring days, I wanted to share some exciting activities and crafts to do for St. Patrick’s Day! I always get motivated to do fun things around St. Patrick’s Day. The sun starts popping out and spring is right around the corner!

  1. Go on a St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt! Hide your crafts you have made, gold coins, lucky pennies or anything else you can think of! 

2. Make a Shamrock Man. A bouncy Shamrock Man to decorate your home or classroom with! 

3. Dig into a St. Patrick’s Day Sensory Bin! Because what’s more fun than searching for gold nuggets and coins in a bucket of grass?!

4. Make a Shamrock Crown for your St. Patrick’s Day princes and princess’! My kids love wearing special holiday outfits and accessories, especially when they made them. 

5. Find the hidden alphabet by matching lower-case and upper-case letters with this ABC Gold Scavenger Hunt. These would be perfect in a Sensory Table!

6. Create a Paper Plate Sun & Rainbow to brighten your day. Hang these from the ceiling or on the wall for a contagious, sunny smile!

7. Dive into SCIENCE and make some Homemade St. Patrick’s Day Ice Cream! Learn how salt effects ice and helps turn the recipe into ice cream! Then decorate it with your favorite rainbow toppings.

8. Decorate paper cups and turn them into beautiful Rainbow Windsocks. These St. Patrick’s Day windsocks would be a whimsical way to decorate at home or in a classroom!

9. Build a Leprechaun Trap! The kids will be so excited to wake up and see if they caught a leprechaun. 

10. Create a Rainbow St. Patrick’s Day Twirler! Hang your twirler from the ceiling and watch all of the pretty colors spin.

11. Pracetice addition, subtraction and sight words with these St. Patrick’s Day and Spring Color By Code worksheets. A fun and engaging way to learn!

12. If you’re going to have a St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt, you are obviously going to need St. Patrick’s Day Binoculars! These are simple to make and add to all of the magical fun!

13. These St. Patrick’s Day STEM Task Cards are amazing! They’re engaging, exciting and hands on fun. Your kids won’t even know they are learning!

14. Create your own Leprechaun Boots! You can use them for your scavenger hunt or leave a special treat inside them.

15. Practice counting with Pots Of Gold. Here’s a fun and engaging way to practice counting for St. Patrick’s Day!

16. Make a 3D Paper Rainbow. Here’s a really cut 3D rainbow craft. Add a pot of gold for St. Patrick’s Day!

17. Whip up some Magic Leprechaun Rocks. Check out this St. Patrick’s Day SCIENCE experiment! The kids will be so interested to see what is going on with these magical green rocks.

18. Craft up a beautiful Rainbow 4 Leaf Clover Garland. Here’s a printable rainbow 4 leaf clover garland for your decorations.
