Mosaic Snowman
With our first real snow on the ground, I thought it would be a perfect time for a snowman craft! The kids made these cute Mosaic Snowmen and then they practiced their writing skills with a S is for Snowman worksheet.
You will need:
Construction Paper
Glue
Scissors
Printable template and worksheet at the bottom of this page!
- Cut out the snowman template and trace it onto blue construction paper.
- Cut white paper into tringles and squares.
4. Trace and cut a black hat, buttons, eyes and mouth. You can use a hole punch for the mouth circles.
5. Trace and cut an orange carrot nose.
6. Trace and cut 2 brown arms.
Have the children glue the white pieces inside the snowman you traced. Glue on the accessories.
My kids really loved making their snowmen! We hung them on their bedroom door when they finished. Then, we did some writing practice. It’s always more fun doing a worksheet when it’s with a craft! Mr. 3 is getting really good at holding a pencil properly and tracing.
