Find The State! A US Geography Game – with capitals!
You’ve finally found it! The perfect game for learning where the US states are on the map. As a homeschooling mom with 2 kids, this has been such an awesome resource. My daughter is about to move on to the hard mode and my son knows about half the states already. It’s pretty amazing watching them learn the states with this US geography game!
How To Play:
•On your turn, draw a state or capital card.
•Guess which state or capital on the map that you think it is.
•If you’re correct, put a marker on that state and keep your card face up in front of you. Your turn is over.
•When you guess wrong, your turn is over and the next player gets to try to find that state. Whoever eventually guesses correctly, gets to keep the card and place a marker.
•Play continues until there are no more states left.
•The winner is the player with the most cards in front of them at the end of the game.
Play with color for beginners or black and white for more advanced players!
