Perfect Royal Icing
A strong and tasty icing. Perfect for gingerbread houses.
Ingredients

pound
Confectioner's sugar
3
Egg whites
1/2
tsp
Cream of Tartar
Instructions
Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
In a separate bowl, sift cream of tartar and sugar, mixing them together.
Combine with beated egg whites and mix until smooth.
Place in piping bag. Keep unused portions covered.
